OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2008. PJSC EMAlliance in partnership with Austrian Energy & Environment CZ s.r.o. (AE&E) are the acknowledged winners of a competition for the delivery of boiling equipment for building the Krasnodar thermal power plant. Also, the power station owner has officially endorsed the joint engineering project of a heat recovery boiler.

The main contractor of the power station is the engineering company E4 Group.

The partners will install a three-drum heat recovery boiler for CCGT with the power of 450 MW. The cost of the equipment comes to around 1 billion Rubles. The time of delivery will be at the end of 2009. At the moment negotiations are underway concerning the terms and conditions of the contract.

According to the rules of the competition the Austrian side presents the basic engineering of the boiler which has references in Western Europe. The engineering company EMAlliance, for its part, must draw up the details for the project documentation. The manufacture and installation of the boiler on the client’s premises will be carried out by Krasny Kotelschik (subsidiary of EMAlliance).

EMAlliance and E4 Group have had a long partnership. They have already carried out joint projects for the delivery of boilers to Archangelsk thermal power plant, and Novosibirsk thermal power plant 5.

At present EMAlliance is completing a modernization program of Krasny Kotelschik which includes the purchase of new equipment and the creation of new production cycles.
