OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2008. The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Republic of Dagestan initiated two cases against "Dagestan Airlines" OJSC that overpriced aviation kerosene and services for aircraft refueling and selling air tickets, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

In course of the inspection, the Dagestan Office of FAS Russia found that "Dagestan Airlines" OJSC unreasonably overpriced aviation fuel and services for aircraft refueling. Furthermore, the Dagestan Office of FAS Russia exposed violations of pricing procedures for the air-passenger operations on the "Makhachkala-Moscow-Makhachkala" route.

The Dagestan Office of FAS Russia believes that such actions of "Dagestan Airlines" OJSC have breached Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" (abusing dominant position). Hearings are scheduled on 31st July 2008.
