OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2008. Stavropol Broiler, the leading poultry producer in the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation, and Meyn Food Processing, Netherlands, a global leader in production of poultry procession equipment, have agreed on an equipment supply contract valued at 8,5 m euro, reported the press-centre of Interros.

Most of the contract sum, 7 m euro, will cover equipment costs for the new poultry processing shop to be constructed at Blagodarnensky factory grounds commencing the third quarter of this year.

Construction of the new shop is the cornerstone of the earlier declared and successfully implemented investment program of Stavropol Broiler, which stipulates full modernization of the company’s assets. The new shop is scheduled for completion by the third quarter of year 2009, when it is expected to start poultry processing. The contract also includes partial replacement of equipment at Pyatigorsky factory, another daughter company of Stavropol Broiler.
