OREANDA-NEWS. On July 21, 2008 President of Uzbekistan signed a decree on increasing the size of the minimum salary, pensions, stipends and social allowances, reported the Official website www.gov.uz.

The document envisages increase of the minimum salary of the budget-supported structures’ and organizations’ employees, as well as stipends, pensions and social allowances 1.2 times on the average.

In particular, the document sets the following minimum monthly sizes:

salary – 25,040 soums;

pension and allowance to disabled from childhood – 49,600 soums;

allowance to elderly and disabled citizens without the required work experience – 30,040 soums.
