OREANDA-NEWS. On July 22, 2008 the Buryatia Office of FAS Russia (OFAS Russia) initiated a case against "Aerofuels - Ulan-Ude" Ltd. for violating Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" (abusing dominant position on the goods market), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia. 

The case was initiated upon a petition from a local carrier.

Buryatia OFAS Russia established that "Aerofuels - Ulan-Ude" Ltd. is in the same group of persons with "Aerofuels Group" Ltd. The Group also includes three companies involved in engineering processes of aviation kerosene refueling in the Republic: "AEROFUELS" TZK" Ltd., (which also is the founder of "Aerofuels - Ulan-Ude" Ltd.), "AEROFUELS -VOSTOK" Company" Ltd. and "Aerofuels Ink" Firm" Ltd.

Buryatia OFAS Russia believes that the group of persons has violated Clause 5 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" in terms of economically or technologically unjustified refusal to (or evading from) enter into contracts with individual buyers (clients) despite present ability.

The hearing is scheduled on 12th September 2008.
