OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2008. This year Belarus may gather in the biggest harvest of cereals and leguminous plants in its history, and, providing the weather permits, the harvest should be brought in within the shortest possible time, said President Alexander Lukashenko on 1 August while visiting the Bolshevik-Agro Agricultural Cooperative, Soligorsk district, Minsk Region.

“Today it is clear that we can gather in a really large harvest, and it should be brought in without losses. We cannot fail, either because of poor management or lack of organisation, to gather it in,” said the President.
