OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2008. The "Rospotrebnadzor" experts arrived to Chisinau for inspection of 22 moldovan wineries.

As the director general of Agro-Industrial agency "Moldova-Vin" Yuri Carp announced, the experts of “Rospotrebnadzor" will stay in Moldova for one week. Inspection of 22 Moldovan wineries is held for possible admission of their products to the Russian market.

Testing will be deep and comprehensive. As it is expected, in case of positive opinion of the Russian experts, these Moldovan wineries will be able to provide samples for examination and in future will resume export of their products to the Russian market. So far, such right was obtained by 32 Moldovan wineries.

Among the Moldovan wine-making enterprises, ready to resume export to the Russian territory are: Vinaria Bardar, Basarab-Vin, Basarabia Lwin-invest, Kazayak-Vin, Agrovin-Bulboaca, Doina-Vin, Alianta-Vin, Taraclia winery and others.

It should be noted that in time of meeting with the Prime Minister of Moldova Zinaida Greceanii in Moscow on June 20, 2008, the chairman of the Government of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin welcomed the increase in supply of Moldavian wines, horticultural and livestock products to the Russian market, noting the ratio of their good price and quality. The two sides welcomed positive dynamics of Russian-Moldovan dialogue and spoke in favour of expanding cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.
