Second Generator at Chirurt HPP-1 Put Out of Service
OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2008. Hydropower generator #2 at Chirurt HPP-1 of Sulak HPPs Cascade was put out of service because of the scheduled overhaul, reported the press-centre of RusHydro.
The repair works will be performed by the experts of “Energostroy Ltd.” They will include the following: standard overhaul and cavitations treatment on the hydro-turbine.
According to the approved schedule the repair works will take 45 days and will be completed by September 15, 2008.
