OREANDA-NEWS. On August 15, 2008 AUB has started issuing and servicing “Elcard” local banking card both for legal entities and for natural persons, reported the press-centre of AUB.

“Elcard” is the most accessible and convenient payment instrument at KR territory. Banking card usage has some obvious advantages: around-the-clock access to own bank account (according to NBKR data, as of August 4, 2008, there are 34 cash dispensers (ATM) and 278 terminals for cash withdrawal and payment for goods and services in Bishkek), safety (in case of the card loss, the customer needs just call the bank and block the card, not losing any money because of that) and confidentiality.

These and other “Elcard” banking card’s advantages has been already appreciated by some local companies, which take part in the “salary” project and pay out  salaries to their employees by written order. The number of “Elcard” cards is rapidly growing (note: more than 24 000 copies have been issued by now). The given payment system is convenient not only for institutions but for any category of citizens. For natural persons “Elcard” means an opportunity to run their budget thoroughly and thriftily, to pay for goods and services without any commissions and, probably, to save some money on the card account.

Being a full and equal member of the mentioned payment system, AsiaUniversalBank executes issue and service of “Elcard” banking cards.
