OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2008. Loan portfolio of individual clients of FUIB (First Ukrainian International Bank) has grown to US600m, the press-centre of FUIB reported.

"This is a natural achievement. FUIB has been developing rapidly and increasing its share in retail loan market of Ukraine. We have reached this indicator thanks to appealing and transparent conditions for customers, openness of the Bank, and a comfort service", says Chief of FUIB's Retail Operations Valeriy Patsuy.

As of 1 July, the total loan portfolio for individuals across the banking system of Ukraine has grown 25.02% since beginning of 2008, whereas retail portfolio of FUIB has gone up 36.64%.

Loans for personal needs account for the most loans granted by FUIB to individuals; mortgage and car loans are well demanded as well.

Experts forecast the bank's loan portfolio for individuals will make US1bn in the first quarter of 2009.
