OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 August 2008 was announced, that President Ilham Aliyev met with the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Egypt to our country Youssef Ahmad Ibrahim Al Sharkawi on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt over the past years was stressed, confidence was expressed in further expansion of these ties.
