OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2008. Pursuant to the contract made, GRASYS has supplied to LLC Gazprom dobycha Nadym, a subsidiary of OJSC Gazprom, a mobile nitrogen station. The station supplied is designated for equipment purging and fires safety assurance at the compressor station Bovanenkovo (Bovanenkovskoye gas and condensate field).

The designed gas production rate at the Gazprom operated Bovanenkovskoye field is 115 billion cu. m. per year. The projected gas production rate is expected to reach 140 billion cu. m. per year. Gazprom intends to proceed with the development of the largest Bovanenkovskoye gas and condensate field in the third quarter of 2011. This is the date slated for the commissioning of the first launch complexes with the capacity of at least 15 billion cu. m. per year and the system of gas transmission lines Bovanenkovo-Ukhta.

This nitrogen station allows producing 120 nmі/hr of 95% gaseous nitrogen from atmospheric air. Nitrogen purity may easily be adjusted in the station operation process, thus maximizing its cost-efficiency. The nitrogen station incorporates the most recent membrane air separation technology of the fifth generation, and due to the use of the advanced engineering developments combines compact dimensions, reliability, serviceability and ease of operation.

The station working temperature range is between −50°С and +50°С. Due to the enhanced performance characteristics, GRASYS stations in the MA series were recommended for production and adoption at all Gazprom facilities. Specifically, GRASYS MA stations are recommended for use at CS, BCS, UGSF for pipelines purging and pressure testing, impulse gas drying and generation, long-term storage and other applications.

Today, GRASYS is one of the largest and most reputable companies in the field of gas separation. GRASYS is also one of the world manufacturers of membrane and adsorption plants for nitrogen and oxygen production, hydrogen concentration, gas mix control etc.
