OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2008 was announced, that incomes of JSC "Irkutskenergo" from realization of energy, works and services for the second quarter were RUR 2.141 billion. According to the documents of the emitter, in comparison with the similar period of the last year, incomes of primary activity increased by RUR 138.05 million. This is connected with change of the production program in the second quarter - productive supply of the electric power increased by 970.19 million kWh, productive supply of the thermal power went up by 301.19 thousand Gcal, and also in connection with growth of tariffs for energy since 1 January of the current year.

The net profit of JSC "Irkutskenergo" for the first half of the year was RUR 1.089 billion. In the second quarter, the parameter decreased by RUR 133.1 million in comparison with the corresponding period of 2007. The documents explain that the major factor which influenced decrease of profit was change of the production program and, as a consequence, increase in expenses at the main manufacture. Therefore, generation of the electric power at thermal power stations increased by 2,337.61 million kWh, productive supply of the thermal power grew by 393.03 thousand Gcal that led to growth of expenses for fuel by RUR 920.40 thousand. Thus, the charge of standard fuel increased by 815.42 thousand tons.

The proceeds of JSC "Irkutskenergo" from realization of production for the first half of the year was RUR 15.016 billion, expenses for manufacture of energy, works and services equaled RUR 12.229 billion.

The share capital of "Irkutskenergo" is RUR 4.766 billion and is divided into 4.766 billion ordinary registered shares of RUR 1 par value. Nominal holders of the shares are JSC "Depositary Clearing Company" - 29.27 % and JSC "Joint-Stock Commercial Savings Bank of the Russian Federation" (Sberbank) - 22,55 %. The state on behalf of Rosimushchestvo (Federal Property Management Agency) possesses 40 % of shares of Irkutskenergo. Irkutskenergo unites 11 thermal and three hydroelectric power stations.
