OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 August 2008 was announced, that Dixy Group – one of the leading food retailers in the Russian Federation – had signed a lease agreement for 90 Volvo FM trucks with Vоlvo Financial Services Vostok/VFS Vostok.   Under the agreement trucks will be leased for 48 months. One Volvo FM truck can carry a load of 14 tons and can take aboard 19 pallets of packaged commodities. 20 trucks will service the Dixy’s St.Petersburg distribution center. The other 70 trucks will service the distribution center near village of Vshody near the city of Serpukhov in the Moscow Region. 3 Volvo FM trucks are already used by the Company at the Rybnoye distribution center in Ryazan Region. 
Dixy’s total cargo motor park in August, 2008 stands at 239 trucks.
