OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2008. The National Banking Journal (Russia) has named Bank Electronika one of the Elite of the Financial World.

The August issue of NBJ contains an article devoted to the status of authorized banks of the Government of Moscow, their roles, functions, and the criteria for their selection.

This is the third year that Bank Electronika has been an authorized bank, actively cooperating with the mayor’s office of the capital city on programs connected with the agricultural industry, trade, and construction. The Bank is taking part in a program to ensure the security of food for the capital city. Under that program, during 2007 and 2008, Bank Electronika, has provided the Government of Moscow with more than 700 million rubles in guarantees that budget resources would be repaid. During the same period, it extended loans of 1.6 billion rubles to industrial enterprises and construction and trade organizations. In addition, a number of companies supply products under import contracts whose open letters of credit have financing raised in international markets. Transactions represent \\$15.3 million. During recent years, the Bank has also taken part in realizing a program to build real estate within a national project titled Accessible and Comfortable Housing – for Russia’s Citizens.
“Our Bank, as one of the most dynamically growing lending institutions, conforms to all the basic requirements demanded of authorized banks of the Government of Moscow,” noted Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Electronika Vladimir Romanov.

The status of authorized bank conveys a great deal more than image. It is a beneficial business position. Clients and partners perceive the Bank as a reliable, stable credit institution that meets the high standards not only of the Central Bank but also of the Government of Moscow.
