OREANDA-NEWS. September 2, 2008. As part of a recent contract, GRASYS supplies to OJSC Tumenneftegaz comprising the TNK-BP Group a fire-fighting station based on membrane gas separation technology. The station to be supplied is the second one over the period of cooperation between the companies. The nitrogen membrane station is designated for nitrogen fire fighting at oil pretreatment furnaces installed at the linear operating dispatcher station Demyanskoye in the Tyumen region.

The nitrogen fire-fighting station to be supplied to OJSC Tumenneftegaz is provided in a block-container in the climatic version allowing station operation under the harsh conditions of Sibir and Far North. The nitrogen station has the operating temperature range of −50 to +40. The station includes the gas separation unit ensuring high-purity nitrogen production with the minimum possible weight and dimensional characteristics of the nitrogen station. The nitrogen fire-fighting station is designed for production of 99% nitrogen at the rate of 20 nm3 per hour.

Offering customized technical solutions, GRASYS is one of the most reputable world producers of nitrogen equipment with the capacity of up to 5,000 nm3/hr of 90 to 99.9% pure nitrogen produced under 400 atm.

GRASYS nitrogen fire-fighting systems complement the model range of MA nitrogen stations recommended for use at compressor stations and booster compressor stations designed for purging, pipelines pressure testing, drying and other purposes.

GRASYS nitrogen stations are designated for operation in fire-fighting systems at oil and gas condensate heating furnaces proving the most explosion and fire hazardous components of oil treatment facilities.
