OREANDA-NEWS. September 2, 2008. "I am totally support the proposal on that in power engineering industry as the basic unit will be the college but not the universities", declared at the Republican August Conference of educators and scientists held at Laishevo municipal region.

The plenary meeting of the conference "Quality Education as Base of the Competition of Republic of Tatarstan" was attended by President of Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Minister of Education and Science of Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko, Prime-Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials.

General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev spoke at the meeting with report "Educational Model of Power Cluster of Republic of Tatarstan". He analyzed deeply the new format of relations between the power companies and the educational establishments.

The power cluster is formed as the continuous realization of power engineering reforming, both in Tatarstan and in entire Russia. Investment activity by JSC "Tatenergo" stipulates the large volume of the research, design, engineering and construction works. Today already the power cluster includes generation, transportation of energy, engineering, energy service, power machine building, educational provision.

Leaders are the "managerial company "KER-holding" and group of companies "INVENT". They provide link of power cluster with other industries of Republic, and export products and services outside Tatarstan. " KER-holding" is successful at Iraq, Pakistan, Middle East.

Group of companies " INVENT " includes production and trade facilities, producing and trading in electro-technical, thermal-technical and construction products. It is in charge of Urussu Electro-Mechanical Works, producing and repairing the set-up transformer substations; "Tatteploizolyatsia" - plant for production of pipes with foam polyurethane coating if hydro-proof coating using facilities of Finnish firm KWH Pipe; plant for production of set-up switchgears, opened with entity "Eltehnika", (St.Petersburg). Together with it was made the line for production of low voltage devices "NEVA". Besides, are produced cables and conductors and transformers.

At Kazan State Power Engineering University opened the biggest in Russia Training Center "Schneider Electric", unique center opened by initiative of JSC "Tatenergo " together with French entity in the area of design and production of switchgears and automation facilities. Training and Research center will train specialists in power engineering in entire Volga-Ural region using modern paraphernalia, produced by Russian firms and Schneider Electric.

"To use the situation for quality development of labor force, in the first hand, the engineers - this is the challenge to be answered by the model of staff training created as part of power cluster of Republic , - emphasized in his report the head of "Tatenergo".

With cluster entities work the Povolzhski Regional Center for Professional Training "Energetik"; Kazan Power Engineering College; Kazan State Power Engineering University (professional education).

Today the companies put high demand to level of competence of university graduates. But the education system does not allow students acquire knowledge and skills for work at managerial positions, Ilshat Shaehovich said. The integration of on-going education with corporate training is required. The approach stipulates training specialists and managerial staff in the profile educational establishments and cluster entities through trust ship and cooperative education, getting the university degree as the completing chain for taking engineering and managerial positions.

Professional growth and training the managerial skills is the care of specialists themselves. Company will continuously form the powerful engineering and managerial potential of the power cluster. The order of acquiring expertise and related competences (skills, knowledge, qualifications) in many ways define the career.

" Agroforce- grupp" - is a group of companies having business in grains growing, technical and food grains; poultry products, milk cow breeding; purchase and processing of cereals for flour; servicing companies. Total area of arable lands is over 220 th. hectares. Today was prepared the memorandum for signing of cooperation with Nederland "PTC" - center of practical training. On base of professional Lyceum #76 (Naberezhnye Chelny) is created the Training Center for agricultural and food technologies. It will train the specialists and students acquiring on-hand experience and problem-solving skills, in order to make a good use of advantages of market-oriented agronomy, animal breeding and processing industry.

"Pedagogy is related to economy, - commented Andrei Fursenko, - only having aptitude in instructor training we will train the skilled specialists. Today vocational training must be orientated at the needs of economy."
