OREANDA-NEWS  On 08 September Ernst & Young announced the opening of its fundamental department in the State University Higher School of Economics (HSE). The department is in the HSE’s economic faculty, with facilities for several hundred students, and is designed to give students practical knowledge about business maintenance and other aspects of their future profession. Ernst & Young will engage highly qualified experts and specialists to teach at the department.

The new department will offer training programs, master classes, and optional studies with the participation of more than 20 Ernst & Young employees engaged in different spheres of activity (audit, taxation, business advisory services). Consultations will be held with students studying economics on the practical issues of organizing and managing business, and other support will be given as they prepare for professional activity.

Instruction will be given on such subjects as audit services, services in the spheres of taxation and law, and advisory services in business maintenance, corporate governance and transactions. Training sessions will be held to develop skills such as public speaking, writing CVs, and attending interviews. Students will be offered an internship in their field of specialization at Ernst & Young; thereby allowing them to apply their knowledge in practice. After graduating from the university, students will know exactly in which sphere they can use their knowledge professionally.

“A priority of our company’s social policy is to support university education,” said Olga Molina, HR Director at Ernst & Young. “By opening our own department in the Higher School of Economics, we have the opportunity to talk directly to students, promote our company and draw the attention of the most talented students. In addition, for the best student in the program, this is an excellent opportunity to join the ranks of professionals working in our company.”
