OREANDA-NEWS  On 08 September was announced, that the routing network of Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport expanded by a new destination now that “Polyot” has launched regular flights to Ostrava (Czech Republic).

Flights from Moscow to Ostrava will be operated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, departing at 23:50 and arriving at 00:40. Flights from Ostrava to Moscow will be operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, departing at 01:40 and arriving at 06:25. The flights will be operated using SAAB-2000 aircraft.

Ostrava is a new destination not only for the airline and the airport, but also for the entire Moscow aviation node. It is the fifth Czech city to which direct flights from Moscow are operated.

“Now that direct flights to Ostrava are available, Russian passengers will have a chance to discover an ancient city, the third largest Czech city after Prague and Brno. Ostrava has become the 119th foreign city within the Domodedovo routing network”, - says Eldar Tuzmekhametov, the head of the Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport Press Service.
