OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2008. ROSNO’s Yamalo-Nenets branch (Ural Directorate) has paid an aggregate insurance compensation of 1,495,244 roubles under the MOD insurance contracts for the Scania B 124 CB and Scania T 114 vehicles damaged in traffic accidents, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The first insured accident occurred on the 13th km of the Yamburg Highway. The driver of the dump-truck Iveco Tracker had not taken into account the traffic density, and his vehicle collided with the ahead-moving vehicle Scania B 124 CB insured in ROSNO. As a result of this collision, Scania sustained damage to hood, bumper and the entire left side of the car body. The insurance compensation paid under the MOD contract to finance the repairs amounted to 711,838 roubles.

Another insured accident occurred in the night on the 10th km of the Yurkharovo Highway. The Scania T 114 truck had been moving in the general column of the SibTransAuto vehicles. The traffic accident was caused by the driver of the Scania T 114 truck, whose violation of traffic rules resulted in collision with another truck moving in the same column. As a result of this collision, the initiating car sustained significant damage: deformation of hood and radiator, and rupture of the connection hose. The insurance compensation for the damaged vehicle equalled 783,406 roubles.

The vehicles owned by SibTransAuto Ltd., Scania B 124 CB and Scania T 114, were insured in ROSNO in April 2006 against the following risks: damage, fire, and theft. In 2007, the contracts were prolongated.
