OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 September was announced, that Transaero Airlines management took a decision to reduce its fares. The fares for all domestic flights will be reduced by 3%, while prices for the most affordable tickets will go down by 5%. The prices for flights to the CIS countries will be cut by 2%, and for other international routes by 1.5%. The prices for tour operators depending on the destination will go down by 1.5%-3.5%.

This resolution is the result of decrease in fuel prices, which became possible thanks to efforts on the part of the Russian Federation Government.

Transaero Airlines wants to provide as many as possible passengers with the opportunity to fly with Transaero. The special stress is made on the social aspect of air tickets affordability for Russian people. Last year Transaero reduced its domestic flight fares three times, particularly on Moscow – Far East routes. This year saw a drastic increase in fuel prices. However, as the prices go down, the airline decided to reduce its fares.

Transaero will continue to pursue socially responsible pricing policy in future.
