OREANDA-NEWS. On September 12, 2008 LLS BTA Bank (Russia) and Informzaschita Company announced BTA Bank has successfully passed PCI DSS requirements compliance audit, reported the press-centre of BTA Bank.

PCI DSS was developed by Visa Int, MasterCard Int., American Express, Discover and JCB payment systems and is aimed at increasing the level of protection of card holders’ personal data, processed, transferred and stored in information systems of trade and service enterprises and service providers. Informzaschita Company was selected as auditor and has the status of Qualified Security Assessor necessary to conduct such activities.

“Our Company has conducted the full range of works in terms of auditing the processing centre of BTA Bank. Employees of the Bank have been assisting us during the whole audit and showed their strong intentions to achieve the high level of information security required by payment systems”, - said Anna Goldstein, Head of Payment Systems Audit.

BTA Bank is a member of the two major payment systems - VISA International and MasterCard Worldwide. To service cards at the Bank there is a processing center in it. This allows the Bank to make cards within very short terms and render services, which meet the global standards.
