OREANDA-NEWS. On September 15, 2008 BTA Bank and "Argumenty I fakty" newspaper announced a children paintings contest "I live in a great world", reported the press-centre of BTA Bank.

The main subject of paintings of children living in different countries of CIS would be what has been and is uniting our people: common history, cultural traditions, fraternal relations to each other.

We are all from Soviet Union.  Even if not the young contest participants, but their parents, grandparents are.  And the fact that this contest is carried out by BTA Bank and "AIF" didn't happen by accident.  "AiF" is a newspaper, which unites fraternal USSR republics in the past as it is being read almost in all CIS countries.  BTA Bank is an international bank, which works on the entire territory of former USSR also uniting the people.

The works of winners - the most vivid, bright and optimistic ones would decorate various cities of CIS countries.  A painting of a little artist from Samara may ornament a fence in Erevan, and one of artist girl from Minsk may decorate a wall of Moscow multistory.

BTA Bank invites children and teenagers, who want to make our world colorful, our lives - more bright and interpersonal relationships - sincere and joyful to take part in "I live in a great world" contest.

Young contesters in three age groups (3-7, 7-12, 12-17) may paint using paints, markers and pencils.  Painting format - A4 or A3.

The paintings should be sent to "Argumenty i fakty" office no later than 30 October 2008 to 42 Myasnitskaya street, 101000 Moscow, "I live in a great world" contest.  Works might also be sent electronically to risunki@aif.ru/
