OREANDA-NEWS. On Sept. 17, at 10:43p.m. Moscow time (6:43 p.m. GMT) Russian cargo vehicle Progress M-65 docked to the International Space Station (ISS). Rendezvous and docking modes were completed successfully.

ISS operation schedule was impacted by hurricane Ike. Since Ike was threatening the Mission control center in Johnson Space Center, Houston, NASA contacted Russian party to request postponing the Progress docking, which had been scheduled for Sept. 13. ISS USOS control was handed over to Huntsville, Ala. JSC is still closed and supposed to reopen next Monday. MCC-Houston is expected to recover its ISS control function this Friday.
