OREANDA-NEWS  On 22 September was announced, that every day, Mikhailovsky flour mill processes 300 tonnes of grain. Operations are conducted in full accordance with production plans and signed contracts – the products are exported. The flour produced on the Mikhailovsky flour mill is used for baking national bread in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. As customers say, cakes from first-grade flour are remarkable. Other grades of flour are quite popular as well.

The weather slightly complicates the operational activity of the mill, connected with putting the new-crop grain into storage: rains hinder harvesting, agricultural units are having difficulties with thrashing. Therefore, both sales and delivering grain for storage proceed a little slower than usual. The flour mill daily receives more than 200 tonnes of new-crop wheat from the arable units.

It should be noted that because of the rains, the grain received by Mikhailovsky mill is characterized by higher moisture content, 17% instead of regular 14%. However, other quality characteristics of grain are without any shortcomings: the wheat shipped on the enterprise is third grade, rich in gluten. Mikhailovsky flour mill guarantees its partners absolute safety of the grain, without loss of any properties: the enterprise is equipped with modern facilities for drying, storage and quality control of grain.

Reconstruction and preparing the enterprise for working with new-crop grain was provided by OJSC PAVA. Mikhailovsky mill is a structural unit of this company which is the largest grain processor not only in the Altay Territory, but also in Siberia and the Far East. Following the results of 2007 when PAVA shipped 17% of the total exported flour to the countries of far and near abroad, Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, declared PAVA Best Exporter of the Industry. Reliable reputation of a large, rapidly developing company enables to allocate significant internal funds for purchasing of grain and attract credit for provision of raw materials supply.
