OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2008. Russia and France investigate the opportunity to jointly develop a reusable space vehicle, said Vladimir Putin, Prime-Minister of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting with the representatives of Russian and French business entities, V.Putin also mentioned that he and Franзois Fillon, Prime-Minister of France, discussed enlargement of the bilateral cooperation in their meeting on Friday.

"And yesterday we talked about possible joint development of the reusable space vehicle", stated V. Putin in Sochi on Saturday. He reminded that Russia and France had already commenced practical stage in the Kourou space port joint untilization project. 250 Russian experts work in French Guyana now.

According to V. Putin, in addition, he and Fillon negotiated enlargement of cooperation in the utilization of the Russian Soyuz launchers. V. Putin called collaborative space projects between Russia and France `interesting and perspective`.
