OREANDA-NEWS  On 26 September was announced, that Irkutskenergo’s shareholders elected “Registrator R.O.S.T.” as a registrar of JSC Irkutsk Electric Networks – a company which spun off from JSC Irkutskenergo. The statement of the PR Service (JSC “Registrator R.O.S.T.”) said that this decision was taken at the extraordinary general shareholders meeting of JSC Irkutskenergo which was held last week. The shares of the new company will be distributed among JSC Irkutskenergo shareholders proportionally to their stakes.

R.O.S.T. has been keeping a register of JSC Irkutskenergo’s shareholders since 2001.

JSC Irkutskenergo is one of the largest Russian power companies. Installed capacity of the Company stations is nearby 12.9 GW. The company supervises three hydroelectric power stations and twelve thermal electric power stations.
