OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2008. Festival was held in Almaty languages "Memlekettik til – Menin tilim" ( "Official language - my language") among a number of Kazakh telecom companies devoted to celebrating the Day of Indigenous Languages of Kazakhstan, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.

This festival was held for the second time. The first festival was held in 2007 at the initiative of the Coordinating Council of operators to consolidate efforts in the implementation of the State Language Policy of Kazakhstan in the telecommunications industry, which includes JSC "Transtelecom", JSC "Arna", JSC "KazTransKom", JSC "Kazakhtlecom", Inc. "Mobile Telecom Service", JSC "Nursat", JSC "Altel".

The purpose of the festival is: support for the implementation of the state language and expand its social and communicative functions in the telecommunications industry; propaganda possession and use of the state language among workers; initiation to respect the languages of national traditions, customs, culture and life of the people of Kazakhstan.
