OREANDA-NEWS  On 01 October was announced, that, in connection with the agreement on visa-free travel between Russia and Israel Transaero Airlines once again confirmed it readiness to provide necessary seat capacity on Moscow – Tel Aviv – Moscow route. As compared to autumn 2007 Transaero has doubled its seat capacity on routes connecting Russian and Israel. This was ensured through introduction of a new flight to Tel Aviv from Sheremetyevo. Moreover, starting from August 17, 2008 UN301 Moscow (Domodedovo) – Tel Aviv route is served by Boeing 777, which can accommodate up to 306 passengers. Currently Transaero offers three daily scheduled flights on this route: two from Domodedovo and one from Sheremetyevo airport.

The analysis of load factor on the first flights after visa abolishment and sales of tickets for subsequent flights show that there is no significant growth in demand. Transaero passenger flow on this route grew by 15%, while the number of passengers on all routes grew by 58% on average as compared to the previous year.

Transaero Airlines would like to confirm that in case of any significant growth in passenger flow, it will be ready to satisfy the demand of Russian and Israeli passengers for high quality services and to operate its Boeing 747s, the largest aircrafts in its fleet, which can accommodate up to 460 passengers, on Moscow – Tel Aviv route. Transaero hopes that the available capacity will be fully utilized.
