OREANDA-NEWS. On October 03, 2008 Ukio bankas introduced a system of online trading in securities. Investors can use the system upon connecting to the Bank’s internet banking system Eta bankas. The new system offers investors the possibility of submitting orders to buy or sell securities in the Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn stock exchanges 24 hours a day, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

Other options of the system include the observation of markets during continuous trading, reception of the latest notices on the Baltic stock markets and values of the main share indices of foreign states and their changes, as well as reading the reviews prepared by the Bank’s analysts. Ukio bankas has set the commission fee of 0.1 percent for all orders submitted by the clients via this system, which is the lowest fee in Lithuania.

The users of the system of online trading in securities can directly trade in all Baltic stock exchanges in real time. It will be possible to update trading information every 10 seconds or at another frequency to be selected by the users. The clients will also have the chance to receive the latest information instantaneously as soon as it is presented in the systems of stock exchanges.

"The new trading system is convenient to operate, i.e. any user will easily find and independently use the required functions. The system is very attractive by its clearness and simplicity. When creating the system, we aimed at avoiding unnecessary details and functions and attaining the shortest possible time for orders to access stock exchanges," said Ruta Kalasinskaite-Kiskiene, director of Ukio bankas Financial Brokerage Department.

Another advantage of the new system is its continuous working time. "The users of Ukio bankas system of trading in securities can submit their orders 24 hours a day. Other systems accept orders only during stock exchanges’ trading hours, meanwhile the investors having chosen Ukio bankas as their financial intermediary will be able to submit their orders at any time of the day from any place in the world.

This is undoubtedly an exceptionally convenient option to the clients willing to save their time or lacking possibilities of submitting their orders during trading hours," Mrs. R. Kalasinskaite-Kiskiene said.

Ukio bankas system of online trading in securities presents detailed trading information. "In Eta bankas investors will see not only information about the biggest fallers and risers but also the systemised information on the deals performed by all intermediaries of public trading in securities in real time and will be able to observe the activity of market participants.

Conditions will be created to view the transaction initiator. The investors are offered free access to weekly reviews of stock exchanges prepared by Ukio bankas finance analysts. Every week the reviews will present systemised information about the concluded deals, tendencies and other urgent issues helping the investors in decision making," Mrs. R. Kalasinskaite-Kiskiene said.

The new system’s users will also have the chance to use a detailed securities portfolio statement, view and analyse their investment history and watch the status of submitted orders.

The clients’ interest in Ukio bankas system of trading in securities should be stimulated by very low service fees – from 1 October all the deals concluded via this system in the Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn stock exchanges are charged the commission fee of only 0.1 percent of the deal amount (the minimal fee of LTL 4/EUR 2/LVL 2, respectively).

In the nearest future the system users will be offered more new services and functions, including continuous trading in bonds in the Baltic markets, the option to acquire securities of other foreign states and investment fund units offered by the Bank.
