OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2008. System Capital Management (SCM) was one of the sponsors of the National Session of the European Youth Parliament held in Kiev, reported the press-centre of SCM.

This is the third year SCM has supported this event that aims to strengthen relations between Ukraine and the countries of European Union.

The National Session of the European Youth Parliament called “Human Rights: Global Issues and Regional Needs” discussed the burning issues regarding human rights protection in Ukraine and other European countries.

Jock Mendoza-Wilson, Director of International and Investor Relations, represented SCM at the official opening of the National Session.

Addressing the delegates of the National Session of the European Youth Parliament Mr Mendoza-Wilson stated: ”SCM seeks to introduce the most progressive international practices and business methods. We realize we have to be competitive to increase the efficiency of our business and to raise its value. So we have to work to international standards.

The organizations like the European Youth Parliament let the Ukrainians see what international standards are. They offer Ukrainians the opportunity to learn the skills of debate, communications, team work which are the essential tools of success either in business or even, dare I say it, in politics.”
