OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2008. In the city of Kalchinsk, Omskaya Oblast, was held a regional party forum of the party "United Russia", where acute issues of the party modernization were discussed, reported the press-centre of Titan.

Among the participants were: member of the highest council of the party, the governor of Omsk Region - Leonid Polezhaev; Chairman of Auditing Committee of the party, deputy of the State Duma - Sergey Popov; supporter of the party, member of the Committee on Economic policy and Business of the State Duma - Mikhail Sutyaginsky; members of the government of Omsk Region; Omsk municipal officials; deputies - members of the faction of the party "United Russia" in the Legislative Assembly of Omsk Region and in the City Council, activists of the party organizations from all over the region.

Within the forum on 12 September was also held plenary meeting where the governor Leonid Polezhaev reported on the role of Omsk Region in carrying out the strategy of regional development until the year 2020, and also concerned the problem of personnel reserves. Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation Mikhail Sutyaginsky presented regional project of the party - the agro-industrial cluster.

Omsk branch of "United Russia" decided to start party's national project - the organization of agro-industrial clusters in the regions of Russia, with Omsk oblast as one of the pilot areas for the project realization.

After the plenary meeting discussion continued on the four discussion platforms. Authorities of the enterprises of the Group of Companies "Titan", CJSC participated in the work of the platform "Regional socio-economical development strategy" concerning problems of the infrastructure development and deep conversion of agriculture feedstock and regional forest reserves.
