OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2008. The official statistics of Omsk region foreign trade turnover in the first half of year 2008 had been published. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the turnover increased by 21,1% and its volume added US100,6 mln. and exceeded US 577 mln, reported the press-centre of Titan.

Among the ten trade partners of Omsk region there are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, China, Hungary, Poland, the USA, Canada, Slovakia and Finland. The characteristic goods include the remarkable petrochemical products (carbon, tyres, synthetic rubber, plastic production) – their share amounts to 72,5%.

The leading participants of the foreign-economic activity include one of the largest enterprises of JSC Titan - Public corporation Omskii Kautchuk. Its export percentage in gross sales of the first half of 2008 accounts for 59% of NBR and SBR, 84% of acetone and 29% of phenol. The foreign trade turnover is conducted also with China, Canada, Finland, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia etc.
