OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2008. Wizz Air Hungary, the largest low-cost airlines in Central and Eastern Europe, announced opening from December 17 of the London (Luton) - Kyiv (Boryspil) flight.

According to the company, the flights will be first performed four times a week, while from March 28, 2009 there will be daily flights. The flights tickets cost from GBP 29 or UAH 299 (one-way ticket, inclusive all taxes and duties). A flight from London (Luton) to Kyiv will be liable for extra British tax of GBP 40.

According to Wizz Air Hungary Commercial Director John Stephenson, the opening of the London-Kyiv flight is a key milestone of air service between Europe and Ukraine. This will be the first low-cost flight to Ukraine.
