OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2008. Dmitry Medvedev signed a federal law amending the federal law "On the Central Bank of Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)".

The federal law gives the Central Bank the right to grant collateral-free credits of up to six months to all Russian credit organisations that have a certain rating.

The law stipulates that the list of rating agencies, additional requirements for the recipients of credit, as well as the procedures and terms of credit will be established by the Board of Directors of the Central Bank.
