OREANDA-NEWS. S7 Airlines, Russia’s largest air carrier by number of transported passengers on domestic routes, announced the addition of a second regular Moscow-Baku flight starting October 26, 2008, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

The daily evening S7 Airlines flight from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Baku and the morning return flight will be operated as part of a code-sharing agreement* signed on September 24, 2008 with "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL).

Under the agreement, Azerbaijan Airlines provides a block of seats for S7 Airlines passengers on its flights J2853/J2852 from Moscow to Baku, and S7 Airlines on the S7 flights S73355/S73356 for passengers of Azerbaijan Airlines.

Flights between the two capitals will operated on comfortable Boeing 757 and Airbus A319 airliners with business and economy-class sections.

An agreement to accept each others’ electronic tickets is already in effect between S7 Airlines and Azerbaijan Airlines. Electronic tickets on the Moscow-Baku flight can be processed and purchased on our website at www.S7.ru no later than 12 hours before departure. Tickets on all S7 Airlines flights can also be purchased at any S7 Airlines sales office.

S7 Airlines passengers departing from Baku can purchase special transfer fares with convenient connections at Moscow Domodedovo Airport with other S7 Airlines flights to cities of Russia, Europe and Asia.

Since June, passengers of all S7 Airlines flights including international ones have been able to register and drop off their baggage at Moscow Domodedovo Airport up to 24 hours before departure. This is especially convenient for passengers whose trips involve layovers of up to 24 hours at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Preliminary registration is performed at S7 Airlines’ 24-hour counters nos. 111-132.

*A code-sharing agreement supposes joint operation of the flight by both partner airlines. The tickets on these flights are entered into the reservation systems with the codes of both airlines.
