OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2008. The Council of Entrepreneurs, within the nearest time, will prepare for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine propositions on overcoming the financial crisis.

The head of the Council of Entrepreneurs within the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oxana Prodan announced during a meeting with representatives of public councils under the executive authorities underway in Kyiv today. At this the Council will take into account all wishes of representatives of small and average businesses which nowadays start to face first negative consequences of the crisis.

“In two-three days the Council of Entrepreneurs will have worked out all the wishes and propositions and will submit to the CMU a consolidated document. I consider it will become a crucial supplement to the whole series of measures, having previously developed by Yulia Tymoshenko’s Government. Ukraine can survive the financial crunch smoothly but to achieve this joining efforts of authorities and businesses is necessary,” Oxana Prodan added.

The meeting of the Council of Entrepreneurs within the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with members of the public councils has been devoted to maintaining of a constructive dialog between the society, business and authorities as well as elaboration of mechanisms of consolidation of efforts by the public councils.

“The Council of Entrepreneurs is ready to become that very mechanism, that very platform to be the base for this constructive dialog,” Oxana Prodan stressed. We are capable to include all the initiatives elaborated by representatives of the public councils to mull over by the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada. That’s why we are talking today about effectiveness of the Council of Entrepreneurs as an instrument to represent interests of small and average businesses, she said.
