OREANDA-NEWS  On 20 October was announced, that after signing of the Act of Preparation, IDGC of Centre, JSC Deputy General Director for Technical Policy Sergei Schumacher gave to Director of the subsidiary the Certificate of Preparation.

The solemn ceremony took place after a hard preparation of the company in a very cold weather and regular monitoring of facilities by interdepartmental committees consisting of Belgorodenergo employees, specialists of IDGC of Centre, JSC Technical Inspection Department, Rostekhnadzor, Belgorod Regional Dispatch Administration, and EMERCOM HQ of the Belgorod Region.

IDGC of Centre, JSC committee, headed up by Sergei Schumacher, summed up the final results. All members agreed that nothing prevents them from giving to Belgorodenergo, an IDGC of Centre, JSC subsidiary, of the Certificate of Preparation.

Sergei Schumacher underlined that the company deserved Certificate No.1: "Having created a lot of advanced solutions, Belgorodenergo was the first to perform all necessary conditions." Technical Director also noted that this year energy industry enterprises for the first time are preparing for winter under new rules: without centralized control of RAO UES, but under the governmental control. The list of the main and additional conditions of preparation has increased, and they become more strict and clear. Special attention should be paid to the activity of Belgorodenergo operative technological services, that transferred to the two-level management system this year. The subsidiary management structure itself was reorganized: production divisions were abolished. All this, no doubt, only aggravated the problem, but, at the same time, it helped to approach the preparation more seriously and to use all means and opportunities to reach the set aim.

According to Deputy General Director - Director of Belgorodenergo, an IDGC of Centre, JSC Viktor Filatov, the Certificate of Preparation means for the company undertaking of obligations of unfailing supply of the region in the period of low temperatures. The power workers understand their responsibility to consumers and assure that the forthcoming winter will pass quietly.  They are sure of it because of the work made during the preparation.

Deputy Director for Technical Issues Denis Yagodka told in more details about it. He said that this year the workers performed all planned repairs of the equipment at substations and on electricity transmission lines. The costs of repair programmes increased up to RUR 145.9m. Apart from repairs, the company completed investment projects, among them the following: 110 kV Frunzenskaya-Tomarovka No.1 overhead line with a length of 15.1 km was constructed, 10 kV Tomarovka, Rudnik and Tavrovo substations were reconstructed, and now workers are working at Graivoron substation. The company solves problems of capacity deficiency in the towns and districts of the region. For this purpose the company developped and is now performing a programme of replacement at substations of power transformers with more powerful and advanced ones. The company also made an emergency stock of equipment and materials.

All it means that a hard work was made, and the company is well prepared for winter.
