OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2008. In Yeghegnadzor, where the Town’s Day and Harvest Feast were celebrated on October 19, big changes are expected in the cultural life of the town. Reconstruction works of the amphitheatre in Yeghegnadzor were completed. VivaCell-MTS has donated AMD 119.400 million.
 
Yeghegnadzor, which is famous for natural monuments, unique flora, can now attract a lot of art workers, so the town strives to become the serious cultural center of the region. Thanks to VivaCell-MTS’ contribution, the amphitheatre was completely reconstructed. This project, which is one of the biggest projects realized by the company, includes construction of 2 checkrooms and 2 restrooms. In addition, chairs were installed, and 400 meters-long gas pipe line was put in place making it possible to heat the whole area. The territory around the amphitheatre was completely cleaned up.
 
“We cannot separate ourselves from the culture. It ties all of us with our fatherland, soil and roots. And being a corporate citizen, we feel responsible to care of our culture and we will continue keeping our promises”, - VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian noted during the ceremony of opening.

Now, when there is a newly reconstructed amphitheatre in Yeghegnadzor, the town will be much more attractive for art workers and the center of Vayotz dzor marz (region) will live a new life full of cultural events.
