OREANDA-NEWS  On 22 October was announced, that the 19th International Tennis Tournament “Kremlin Cup” ended in Moscow. Ingosstrakh was a general partner and an official insurer thereof. Ingosstrakh IJSC has supported Kremlin Cup for the seventh year now. The tournament belongs to ATP Series and Tier I WTA. Ingosstrakh insured organizers’ liability for damage to health, life and property of third parties, including visitors, participants, spectators, guests, workers and tenants resulting from the event. The limit of liability is USD 5 mln in Ruble equivalent. 

Besides, this year Ingosstrakh founded special prizes for tennis players in memory of Viacheslav Ivanovich Scherbakov, the CEO and Chair of the Board of Ingosstrakh, who died this year. Ingosstrakh awarded prizes in two nominations - "Fair play" for men and "Miss Kremlin Cup" for women. Since the tournament belongs to ATP Series and Tier I WTA, an ad hoc commission was set up that consisted of the representatives of these tours and the insurer. 

With the Fair Play nomination Ingosstrakh pointed out at the main principle of any game – honesty. In the nomination for men the winner was Igor Andreev, and a charming tennis player Dinara Safina won the second nomination.

Handmade crystal cups created by Мario Cioni were awarded by Shamil Tarpischev, the president of the Tennis Federation of Russia, and Tatiana Scherbakova.  She said that Kremlin Cup was one of the main projects of the sponsorship program of Ingosstrakh and expressed a hope that cooperation between the Kremlin Cup and Ingosstrakh could promote tennis in this country and success of the Russian athletes.

Besides, during the week, in the Olimpiyskiy sports center there was a stand of Ingosstrakh that daily held lotteries for visitors and a picture contests of accredited photojournalists. Two stands showed interesting and colorful pictures of the most intense moment of the tournament.

Another present for all tennis lovers was an exhibition of pictures made at the Olympic Games in Beijing, China, hosted together by Ingosstrakh and the Kremlin Cup.

Besides, to mark the tournament, Ingosstrakh published an album called “Milestones of Victories” that featured unique historical pictures from the archives of the Tennis Federation of Russia.
