OREANDA-NEWS  On 22 October was announced, that according to S&P's statement, the agency placed Ukraine's sovereign rating on the CreditWatch list with a negative forecast. The decision means that the country's sovereign ratings in both national and foreign currency may be placed to the speculative CCC class. The decision was explained by the constantly increasing current account deficit and high share of private foreign debt in the GDP (35%), which may exceed the amount of the international reserves of the NBU. At the same time the agency announced that it will not change Ukraine's rating if the IMF will provide a loan to Ukraine.
