OREANDA-NEWS  On 27 October was announced, that 26 new playgrounds to be built in southeast Moscow in 2009 will provide the residents of the district with sports objects completely.

“26 new sports grounds are to appear in the courts of southeast Moscow in 2009 that allows the district to raise an indicator of the provision of the residents with sports objects up to the norm. The new playgrounds will appear in every neighbourhood except Kapotnya,” Vladimir Zotov, prefect of the southeastern administrative district of Moscow, said.

The official explained that Kapotnya neighbourhood was one in the district that had almost twice as many sports facilities as it was necessary according to the norm.

According to a press service of the southeastern administrative district of Moscow, there are now only 4 neighbourhoods provided with sports grounds completely in the district: Vykhino-Zhulebino, Kapotnya, Lyublino and Yuzhnoportovy.

Mr Zotov noted that the most of these sports grounds would be built in Ryazansky and Maryino neighbourhoods, 5 and 6 respectively.

All of playgrounds located in the courts will be transferred into the ownership of the municipal formations by January 1, 2010 according to the urban goal-oriented program aimed at the government support and development of the local governments in Moscow.

The prefect also added that, according to the transfer of the sports objects into the ownership of the municipal formations which would have to work more, the municipalities of Vykhino-Zhulebino, Maryino, Nekrasovka and Tekstilshchiki would be provided with additional areas.
