OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2008. As of October 1, 2008, the operating well stock of Novosibirskneftegaz, a subsidiary of TNK-BP, consists of 136 wells, which is 38% more than in the same period of the last year, the press service of TNK-BP said to the Petroleum News Agency (ANI), reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

A total of 82 production wells and 54 injection wells were in operation by early October in the fields of Novosibirskneftegaz.

In the first nine months of 2008, the company produced 1.5 million tons of oil, which is 6% more than in the same period of the last year.

The main activities of Novosibirskneftegaz are concentrated in the Verkh-Tarskoe oil field (in the north of the Novosibirsk Region). Apart from that, the company has five areas in the Novosibirsk Region – the Rakitinskiy, Mezhovskiy, Vostochno-Mezhovskiy, Chekovskiy, and Bochkarevskiy licenses areas, three areas in the Omsk Region – the Baklyanskiy, Litkovskiy, and Kutisskiy license areas, and two areas in the Irkutsk Region – the Notaiskiy and Ulkanskiy license areas.

As of October 1, 2008, Severnoeneftegaz, another subsidiary of TNK-BP, increased its operating well stock by 20% up to 12 wells (11 production wells and 1 injection well). In the first nine months of 2008, Severnoeneftegaz produced 98,580 tons of oil, which is nearly 3 times more than in the same period of the last year.

Severnoeneftegaz performs its operations mainly in the Maloichskoe and Vostochno-Tarskoe oil fields in the north of the Novosibirsk Region.
