OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2008. At the GAZ Group head-office in Nizhny Novrorod, TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. showed its portfolio of automotive safety systems and components at an ‘Innovation Day’, reported the press-centre of GAZ Group.

The GAZ Group management – employees from its United Engineering Center, divisions and plants – will participate in workshops on the latest TRW safety systems: braking, steering, safety electronics, seatbelt and airbag systems and review an exhibition of TRW technologies.

GAZ Group CEO Sergey Zanozin commented: “Our company is analyzing different possibilities of cooperation with the world’s autopart producers in developing the next level of vehicles. The cooperation with the global automotive components suppliers contributes to the high efficiency of supplies and to further application of advanced technology in our vehicles”.

GAZ Group already cooperates with TRW Automotive: TRW delivers safety systems for the MAXUS LCV (airbags and safety belts) and for Volga Siber cars (braking components, part of the steering system, airbags and climate control).
