OREANDA-NEWS  On 05 November was announced, that during the last two years PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru) had been actively carrying out the strategy of expansion into overseas flour markets. The results of work – steady increase of flour export shipments – indicate that the company has chosen the right course of action. Recently the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East announced a launch of a completely new product – protein-enriched vitaminized flour without artificial additives.

Many partners of the company already got interested in the protein-enriched flour, including those who hadn’t done business with PAVA yet. OJSC PAVA specialists have undertaken major efforts to acquaint the prospective clients with this innovative product in grain processing. After the preliminary negotiations, samples and information about the flour were sent to Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, the Philippines, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Israel and Turkey.

Protein-enriched vitaminized flour created interest among potential partners due to a number of reasons. At first, it’s the moderate price which is especially relevant for developing countries suffering from problems with food; secondly, this product is enriched by a diverse range of vitamins, macro- and trace elements.

Following a series of negotiations and research of the samples with wholesalers from South-East Asia and a major Swiss trader, PAVA reached an agreement with these companies that they will offer protein-enriched flour to their partners. Health benefits of the product were the crucial factor that interested wholesalers from these countries.

“We sent the samples so that our partners could test the flour in preparation of national cuisine dishes. For instance, in Afghanistan the common use for flour is baking of flat cakes, while manufacturers from the Philippines will use it in production of noodles. Negotiations will be resumed immediately after the testing”, commented Angela Kiseleva, OJSC PAVA Commercial Director.
