On October 29, 2008 VTB Capital, Investment Business of VTB Group, announced two senior appointments: Andrey Solovyev is to be Global Head of Debt Capital Markets in the Global Banking Department; Boris Reyzelman is appointed Global Head of Sales & Trading, reported the press-centre of VTB.

Andrey Solovyev will be based in London and will report to Mikhail Butrin and Oleg Pankratov, Co-Heads of Global Banking; while Boris Reyzelman will be based in Moscow and report to Alexei Yakovitsky, Global Head of Research and Co-Head of Equity Product.

Biographical information:
Andrey Solovyev has ten years of experience in Eurobonds and structured debt financing with Russian and CIS corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns and municipalities. Andrey joined VTB Capital from Merrill Lynch International in London where he was Managing Director, Head of Russia and CIS Capital Markets and Financing, Investment Banking, from 2007. Previously, Andrey worked in Deutsche Bank in London, initially in the Financial Institutions Group and thereafter as the Head of Russia and CIS Bond origination team.

Andrey Solovyev received his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business  (Chicago, USA).

Boris Reyzelman began his career in the financial markets more than ten years ago. Prior to his appointment at VTB Capital, Boris was a Head of Sales and Sales Trading at Credit Suisse in Moscow from June 2007. From 2002 to 2007, Boris was a senior Sales Trader focusing on both international and domestic clients. Boris started his career in Equities at Credit Suisse in New York as an EMEA research salesperson for North American clients. Before that he worked as a US Treasury Bond Trader with UBS in New York.

Boris Reyzelman received his degree in Finance from the University of Buffalo (USA).
