OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2008. In Omsk was opened forum-exhibition "Investment Opportunities of Omsk region", reported the press-centre of Titan.

The exhibition is situated in the shopping center "Continent-2" on the area of 3,5 thousand meters. In the opening participated the provincial governor L. Polezhayev, the speaker of Regional Assembly V. Varnavsky and also heads of regional departments.

The exhibition presents more than 200 enterprises, also from Kazakhstan, Turkey and Poland. The forum will include presentation of enterprises and investment projects, round tables concerning international and regional cooperation, supporting small-scale business, socio-economical development of municipal entities and financial policy during the financial crisis.

"Group of Companies "Titan" displayed its projects of building agro-industrial cluster "Biocomplex" and also a mega-farm in the region. Within agro-industrial cluster which is the largest regional project is planned the forming of vertically integrated agro-holding, comprising bio-ETBE production plant, poultry factory, meat processing plant, feed mill and some large-tonnage biotechnological units. All these objects are connected with each other by the same production string based on the deep conversion of wheat and non-waste production.

Main feedstock will be fodder wheat in volume of 600 thousand tonnes/year produced in the region.

During the first day of forum in the conference hall of Omsk region government was held plenary meeting where the director of strategic development of "Titan-Agro" enterprise S. V. Ryabov made the report "Transregional Clusters - Economical Integration of Border Territories". Specialists of "Group of Companies "Titan", CJSC will also take part in some round tables including "Cooperation of Omsk Region and the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Investment Outlook of Omsk Region".
