OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 November was announced, that PAVA, a major grain processing company in Russia, will participate in the German Equity Forum which takes place in Frankfurt, Germany on November 11-12. This forum is co-ordinated by Deutsche Borse, KfW Mittelstandsbank and Ernst & Young, one of the world’s largest professional services firms.

The event, which is visited by more than 5000 people, is an excellent meeting place for members of the financial community and rapidly developing companies preparing for an international listing. The companies are given the opportunity to present their innovative and ambitious projects to potential investors. Moreover, the Forum offers a wide range of workshops on various issues – including investment in emerging markets.

PAVA will be represented by Andrey Igoshin, President of the Company; Sergey Balaenkov, Chief Financial Officer and Galina Balaenkova, International Business Development Director and Director of IR. The presentation under the name ‘Creating value via vertical integration’ is scheduled for 17.00, November 11.

Galina Balaenkova will be speaking on the recent strategy chosen by PAVA – creation of a vertically integrated agribusiness on the basis of a successful grain processing company. In particular, this involves implementation of two projects: agricultural business operations (acquiring and farming agricultural land assets) and grain fractionation plant.

“We take part in the German Equity Forum as currently we are seeking new sources of financing the company’s development. PAVA is considering alternative ways of attracting capital, such as private placement and IPO, most probably on LSE. Now our main goal is to establish business contacts and present the company to the investors and financial analysts. Besides, we’re planning to participate in a series of discussions and workshops within the Frankfurt forum”, commented Ms Balaenkova.
