OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 November was announced, that Anti Monopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) allowed Lutsk automobile plant (LUAZ), which is a part of the Bohdan corporation, to buy over 50% shares of the Cherkasy bus company.

The Cherkasy bus company was registered as an open joint stock company.

The Cherkasy bus company ended 2007 with a profit of UAH 18.308 million, having increased net revenues by 19% or UAH 78.035 million to UAH 48.766 million, compared with 2006.

Cherkasy bus plant produces model range of Bohdan buses. It is one of the founders of the Bohdan corporation.

Lutsk automobile plant ended 2007 with a net profit of UAH 365 million.

LuAZ is a part of the Bohdan corporation, which is the founder of the Ukrprominvest Group corporation. The shareholders of LuAZ at their meeting on December 22, 2006 decided to rename the enterprise into Bohdan automobile plant.
