OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2008. The first inspection to test conformance of Stroytransgaz’s corporate quality management system with the STO Gazprom standard 9001-2006 was held on October 27-30, 2008. The inspection included the company’s headquarters and subsidiary organizations in Moscow, Moscow Oblast, and Krasnodar as well as the Novy Urengoy gas-chemical complex. Construction at the latter facility is currently underway.

Certifying body InterCentrCert, accredited in the voluntary system GAZPROMSERT, conducted the inspection. The audit demonstrated that the Stroytransgaz quality management system on the whole meets requirements of STO Gazprom 9001-2006. InterCentrCert will extend the current certificate of compliance, certificate № ГО 00.RU.1414.K.00004, after the company eliminates small inconsistencies and carries out corrective measures.

In order to win acknowledgement of the high level of its construction work for Gazprom and recognition of its incorporation of the concept of technological regulation for this largest Russian customer, specialists at Stroytransgaz worked from June 2006 through March 2007 introducing changes in the functioning of the corporate quality management system. The company made corrections taking into account the STO Gazprom 9000 series and Gazprom order № 47, dated April 7, 2005, Development of the GAZPROMSERT System of Voluntary Certification.  Measures to improve the corporate quality management system were implemented at Stroytransgaz headquarters and all subsidiaries already included in the system.

Prior to the inspection, on October 24, 2008, Stroytransgaz passed the second recertification audit of its quality management system’s compliance with international standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
